Ancylocaris brevicarpalis (reef safe)

Inhabits coral reef environments and lives in symbiosis with anemones, urchins, and sand dollars. Transparent except for purple spots on the dorsal half of the abdomen, and opaque white strips along the back edge of the dorsal shell. They also have purple bands on both claws. Depends upon the cleaning process for its food, therefore, its food comes from the animal its living on/with. Should only be maintained in reef style aquariums containing species that it normally lives with in the wild. Provide small caves where the shrimp can molt in total security while the molting process is occurring.
